Nah, they did that shit on purpose. the only reason that fight pisses so many people off is because his the hitbox on his grab is much larger than it should be and that it can instakill you. They did it on purpose to kill journos so they'd right up articles about how LE HARD the game is

They did do it on purpose, and thats fine. Its a learning excercise the same way the first encounter with Genichiro is. You learn what the game is trying to teach you by being forced into situations like that early.
