I have like 950 defense on blue
My elemental resistances seem fucked but I haven't noticed that be of big relevance

They have only been missing for two games now. It's another final boss' turn.

in MHFU small monsters only respawn a set number of times before permanently leaving the quest which is how I got coals and eggs back to the camp
I haven't tried this in Rise yet because I can get from point A to point B way quicker

kek the -50 elem res is way worse than -100 defense. Besides you almost always want the ATK buff not the elem buff. Though SAED profits a lot from elem buffs.
Mail of Hellfire is a speedrunner trap, you are better off stacking dereliction, sneak attack, elem crit etc. and not having to bother about balancing your defense.

Dereliction is absolute ass on CB, sneak attack is inconsistent and elemental crit does fuckall for phials
Elemental exploit works on phials but the pieces are the exact same ones as for mail of hellfire, so you'd just be trading 10% unconditional elemental damage for a 10% conditional elemental damage
I've playtested the set enough to know the alternatives, and they are just not as good

For some reason, Rise was not as comfy as World or GU for me. I think it's because of the dog, going so fast from one place to another is anti-comfy.
