poor mans elden ring
Elden Ring? Not Bloodborne?
the world design and combat look boring
I fucking loved Mortal Shell but thought The Surge 1 and 2 were dogshit. Will I like this?
Great ideas, horrible execution. Level design sucks, enemies are dogshit, bosses are barely hard. If only they put as much thought into the rest of the game as they did with the skill tree this would've been a decent game.
5/10 game only because atleast it's a bug free experience.
Thought it was really unfortunate you can't manually jump, also felt kind of boring there was no voice acting
I uninstalled once I reached the first boss
Mortal Shell and Thymesia play like default engine student projects. You'll love it
haven't played it where's the link
Big meh so far, but I'm only 2 hours in. Does it get any more fun?
Waiting for 50% sale or something, its alright when I played it for tryout 2 hours. They fucked up regional pricing tho and for whatever reason its direct conversion from USD here in Poland, which puts it way above its league price-wise
>bosses are barely hard
Odur caused tons of people with alleged Souls veterancy to seethe really hard
>5 hours long
>3 levels
>Like 10 boss fights
It's a decent time if you pirate it. I wouldn't pay 25 bux for it.
Hey now. It's a poor man's Bloodborne.
Enjoyable but short
Good game but I did not like that the opponents who drop my favorite weapon is only three per game
it looks kinda cool but I couldn't play more than the first "episode", got really boring
The game has the same problem most of the attempts at doing Souls games cheaply have where the player character feels completely disconnected from the environment, sliding and floating around.
I was looking forward to something pretty cool with the setting because Plague shit is cool but the execution is squandered its just a shit version of a blue mage.
>where the player character feels completely disconnected from the environment, sliding and floating around.
perfect ds2 emulation
kek
Sekiro with a Bloodborne skin.
>Only one main weapon
>Emphasis on deflections and "posture" breaking
>A bunch of side weapons that cost "mana" to use
>Need to keep up the damage or the enemy regains "posture"
Only thing missing is a jump button and grapple hook.
way better than any souls shit.
it actually has responsive controls. I press attack and my character actually fucking attacks. no 500 frames of build up, just a quick slash combo that isn't completely divorced from my inputs.
I press parry or dodge after the swing and he cancels right into the action. they actually know how to program an action game.
too bad fromshit never learned frame data.
if you dodge instead of parrying you cheat yourself out of fun.
An apallingly horrible game, i felt embarrassed by how much it stumbles to be a Souls game.
The introductory unvoiced slideshow made me LOL.
Combat is horrid. Camera actually makes me feel sick, player character is tiny, and so are the enemies so visibility is shit. Invisible walls everywhere.
Pirated it and deleted it after 50 minutes.
Embarrassing game.
Another unreal engine tech demo.
It's clearly not trying to be a souls game aside from the superficial structuring because the combat is actually responsive like DMC or a real action game.
if it was trying to be a souls game your character would control like a slow clunky piece of shit. as for visibility never had any trouble. enemies are super readable and their telegraphs are perfectly reliable. I was parrying everything. maybe get your eyes checked or adjust your brightness.
