With the new leaks out, what does Any Forums think of the new AC?
Does it look promising or will it be another shitshow like what with the recent rpg AC became?

>future of Assassin's Creed
Are they talking about this game or the Infinity GaaS game?
>AC1 remake
Fucking finally.
I think they're going to unveil AC plans for the next fiscal year, I'd expect an announcement of infinity atleast.
the remake of AC1 could be cool if they update the gameplay/story structure. some of the assassin missions could learn a lot from nuHitman
Looking at ubisoft's track record recently, there's a big chance they're going to fuck this up. Will probably be a reskin of the rpg ac with dumbed down mechanics and updated "graphics"
Sounds pretty good desu. I also think valhalla gets a bit too much flak btw. It's grindy as fuck, and kind of buggy, but it's a decent game at it's core. I liked Eivor.
i like the setting a lot, but i was crashing often and the introduction to the dream sections where u play as odin turned me off big time
>Bagdahd
>Return ot basics
>Remake of AC1
Cool
>AC remake
neat
>will be integrated into season pass
of courseā¦.
There is a single component to this remake that will make or break it. Will they give us the crossbow after all this time?
No, and I hope they don't.
They decided not to implement the crossbow because they could not find any supporting evidence that a crossbow existed in that time period and area of the world, so they decided against putting it into the final game.
At least that was a reasoning given by most people that were involved in the project.
My only wish is that they don't use that godawful mudslim accent with Altair but I already know they will
plus the throwing knives were pretty strong as is
Yet they put magical shit in future entries.
Devs change each project and with different devs working on the remake, I doubt they'll still have the same philosophy as they did back then.
>We will play Basim in his youth as a thief until he arrived at the hidden ones
So basically, it's like the recent entries where we don't play as an assassin. Why even call it assassin's creed at this point?
Months ago leakers said that it's a one off title that is supposed to actually return to the roots, to fill the gap between Valhalla and the next gaas game.
>the new AC
I would be excited, but we are talking about ubisoft here. I expect a rather low-quality product, with poor animations (compared to previous installments), boring combat, soulless UI and microtransactions. I like that the RPG mechanics have been removed and I assume or hope that the map will be smaller.
Brand recognition except instead of telling me I should try it, I know to avoid it
Ubisoft's incapable of making anything but Far Cry 3 clones. Even if this is real this list won't go beyond some white board on a developer meeting.
Splinter Cell remake got confirmed not to be open world at very least.
So same scope as Rogue but with mechanics from AC1? It'll either be an underrated gem or a forgotten entry like liberation.
Time to come clean and just be honest Ubi Shills, that there was nothing such as """"""""""leak"""""""""" and it's part of your marketing strategy, a strategy that just as stale as your games, and frankly, boring. Nothing will be done about it, not by this site users, not by mods, no one, so you can just be honest.
