Well playing it, I think it's because she actually emotes and reacts to the bullshit happening to her. Granted she isn't on Murphy "what the hell is this?" Pendleton's level but compared to dead eyed James and mildly confused Harry, Heather at least has some presence of mind to react to the weird shit going on around her.
