I recently dove back into the sequel. When it first released, I felt it was inferior to the original but now it's by far my favorite. Playing on hard mode was the most genuine fun I've had with a video game in a long time. Settling in, grooving to the music, and just bashing your head against the wall until you figure things out was very entertaining and I'm a little sad we'll likely never see a third game.

If you pick up a gun it is halved, but if you throw that gun at somebody and pick it up again the ammo count is halved again. It should only happen once.

If you're not looking for a challenge then stick to normal mode? I don't see the issue. Halving your ammo is a slap on the wrist and you should get over it pretty quickly. Seriously, man, melee is basically easy mode.
