To be honest the ps2 has enough games for a whole life time. PS2 also can run PS1 games.
Every game that needed to exist already exist in both platforms.

If I had to pick one console I like PS1 better and with the volume of games and RPGs on it, it would certainly have more hours of gameplay. But PS2 isn't a bad second choice. It had a lot of variety and Armored Core. SNES would be a reasonable third choice.

Maybe but I doubt it. My iso folder is nearly 500 games and doesn't include anything from the time that was better on PC or GCN, which is PS2 is all you can play would be included.
