Kinda on topic with this but there’s one thing I’ve noticed that’s pretty funny and it’s how the game will, many times, take you over areas with the 2D cutout trees and others types of foliage and (see Coolley Lake and Distant Fingertip). This isn’t a complaint about the use of 2D cutouts, but they’re supposed to serve as an illusion while this game takes you to places that make them very easy to notice.

It's just the sprit motes during offseeing and nothing else as far as I'm aware after having finished the game. You do this pretty often in gameplay, but it's not a terribly big deal. There's also a small handful of cutscenes where they play their flute and the background is supposed to be this lightshow spectacle and there's just nothing, there's only one lategame scene I would say is just completely ruined by it, minor annoyance otherwise. Nothing that will hinder your gameplay.

Well in gameplay yeah it's really not big of a deal, but cutscenes that's another story. Especially when you mentioned lategame scene. There are youtube videos with those cutscenes anyway right? Maybe that will help.

No, because there's a minimap icon of a flute to show you they're nearby that you'll see long before you would have seen the particles (if they were present) anyway. This icon also completely ignores your vertical position, so you can be way up a cliff and even if the body is way below (or above) you then you'll know it's position The game doesn't really make an effort to hide almost anything from you except for one type of collectible.

It's really not a big deal, but yeah, you can just rewatch a scene online if something was obviously wrong. There was only one time it truly bugged me and it was very late.
