I lost a three month living character in Zomboid because of fucking SQL, never been so mad in my life. I had 10 carpentry, 7 tailoring, and and 10 foraging just to lose it all because of that shit.

This image so so old

What do you mean ? You installed an SQL server on your machine ?

At that point, why not just recreate your character with console commands, or cheats, or whatever? (I don't play PZ, so I'm not sure how it works)
You got cheated. Wasn't an authentic loss.
You don't deserve to get fucked like that.

>launch pirated game
>it works perfectly
>still become paranoid at every little thing the PC does like a random microfreeze or 1 dropped frame in a video or it taking half a second more to do something
It's an abstract kind of feeling

Programmer here. I have a different perspective on those brief flashes of a command prompt.
It's actually very easy to just avoid showing it, and instead have your code run completely invisibly. If I were writing malware, I'd definitely do that.
So when I see that prompt, it tells me
>some program just run and finished very quickly, and whoever wrote it hasn't made any attempt to hide it from me
Since it's not even trying to hide, I don't really have any reason to distrust it.

>the crack is just running the installer of the program itself instead of the CD autorun setup

I wouldn't worry about it. Just the denuvo server emulation.
Now please login to online banking.

>open microsoft edge and close it
>it doesn't disappear from task manager
