No, but it's worth "buying" on gog-games
he gets it
gog-games doesn't let you download any version of the game you want or in any language. Also those kikes removed all the 1ficher links to push their pay for piracy garbage
If you care about getting games without DRM, yes.
Yes
I'm thinking of buying D1 / hellfire on this service for $10. Is this a go?
>no DRM
>no forced launcher program
>offline installers
>money isn't going towards the Valve monopoly
Fuck yes.
I would unironically start using gog if they had a cute anime girl as their mascot
>no force launcher
don't you have to download your vidya through gog galaxy?
You can download directly through their website
If that aligns with your moral compass, yes.
I like to buy the games I want as part of the social contract I believe in. But too each his own, you know?
Yeah. Sometimes I'll "pirate" gog versions of steam games I already own for the drm free exes.
fpbp. never give money to gog.
user that is their official mascot twitter.com
Pony up, boy
It's better for old games because many come with the fixes pre-installed so you don't have to go out of your play to get them to work on newer PCs.
It's also quite nice to be able to backup your installers.
GOG is too good for consumers, and it'll die soon because of it. You don't live unless you turn up your scum to 110%.
CD Project isn't in THAT dire straits
Being able to backup and install my entire library on my local fileserver is so nice.

For single player games, absolutely. It lacks the extensive social features and multiplayer infrastructure of Steam though.
Also: nakadashi GOG-chan.
