Is poison green or purple?

it depends on the game
if the game doesn't tell you, then it's neither. it's literally HP

>Game calls them hit points
They are hit points
>Game calls them health points
They are health points
>Game calls them Hitty Pitties
They are british

Sorry, When I see a frog, I don’t bother reading the OP.

It varies from game to game.

You will never be a woman and you need to touch grass and have sex before you hurt someone.

Is Health points if you referring to the amount of damage it takes to destroy or kill something and the game permits variables amounts of damage to be delivered. E.g: your character has 1000 HP and enemies can take 10-100 HP depening of the enemy and his attacks.

Is Hit points if you are refering to:
I) The amount f damage it takes to destroy or kill something but the game only permits a fixed amount of damage to be delivered. E.g, your character has 10 HP and every time an enemy hits you he takes 1 HP, so it takes exactly 10 hits to kill you.
II)the amount of damage a character/unit or attack can deliver. E.g. enemy A has 1 hit point, enemy B has 2 hit point, That means that enemy B delivers twice as much damage as enemy A.
