how is nintendo not constantly embarrassed by the low-res textures in their games? the edges of objects always look so grainy and you can even see the vertices in the polygons that make up that little fucker's eyes. fucking dogshit hardware

Gameplay makes up for it

Because graphics are the least important aspect of a game.

looks fine enough

YWNBAW user

Wait, are you genuinely complaining about pic related? Looks great to me

because graphics don't mean shit
I literally can't look back in over 30 years of vidya and be like "wow, I really liked that game's graphics, I should go back and play that"
gameplay, story, soundtrack, atmosphere, all are way more important
the only game where graphics got in the way of gameplay in a nintendo game was botw, because when exploring, the shit render distance would make you miss important things.

artstyle != graphical fidelity
art is nice, textures are not

>links to youtube video to say his opinions for him
Oh no no no... brainlet bros... you gotta try a little harder than this. Try to stand on your own two feet for once.

Who cares
Graphics have hardly progressed since 2006 to begin with.
Companies should focus more on making games good rather than wasting their entire budget on shaders and lighting to be "cutting edge"

just emulate if it's such a big deal to you you dumb nigger

Like i said, looks good to me, go play ps5 or pc games if you want 4k shit

Because most people aren't autistic like you.

>Graphics have hardly progressed since 2006
Been playing bioshock 1 these days and the graphics are painfully beautiful for a 2007 game, not even most games released today have such great graphics

Yeah it sucks. Hope they can compete next cycle.

The difference is real time lighting engines ruining graphics
Back in the day games like Bioshock had custom tailored lighting for every room which enhanced every scene.
That's why "remasters" always looks so shit and soulless because of the "new" lighting engines.

The Artstyle and the animation user, it's always aboce the tech.
Look, I'd even say Luigi's Mansion 3 is one the most beautiful game I've ever seen, alongside Arc System Works last games. Yet I "played" what's considered the best cinematic experience from Naughty Dogs and witness some impressive shit when Crysis came out back then.
