Games you wish you can wipe your remember of and replay it

There is nothing like it.

Too bad it's leftist trash.

>swim in deep water
>survive
>"brah is leftist trash brah!!"

Noita.

Only the second one, the first one is raw autism kino.

Second one is an embarrassment though and killed the series.

I left a capsule with alien feces

i'm still mad about below zero
either they had no clue what made the original game so good or they genuinely killed it to focus on a plot about black lesbians

money happened, and the dev caved to social pressure to be "progressive" to look good in the elite circle he was inducted to, and that meant tossing out his passion for some lesbian black woman niggertrash with a boring world and even more boring plot

fuck I hated that game

XCX
Subnautica is another one though

>raw autism kino
bro subnautica is arcadey and basic as hell
It's still very good and fun to play, though

Most games that fall in the "amazing" tier are accidents and their creators can not replicate them.

And the result was even toned down.
IIRC originally you weren't supposed to be looking for your sister, she was in radio contact with you at all times and every dialogue between you two they had to remind the players how awesome it is that they're black female scientists.

uh coming into it cold and figuring everything out and going ham on your base and mats is definitely raw autism

you have no idea what constitutes an actual autistic game.

On one hand, I did not hate that they decided to expand about the setting and how humanity was doing expeditions to different planets. On the other hand, I think the biggest fault the game ended up having after the plot revisal happened was that there was way too much above-ground adventuring that you had to do in a game that really hit it right with the first game being 95% underwater where all the freaky seamonsters were. I hope if they do a third game they will go with a deep-sea theme this time around and just forget everything about above-ground shit. If they decide that they want to have NPCs and human interaction again, go with something like Soma where everything is going to hell in a handbasket and it's all scattered survivors that either die soon after you find them, or if you need a hero routine you save them from whatever bullshit they are dealing with and they end up staying at whatever distant location they were stranded on, but they give some bonus like free materials whenever you visit them or unlock more of the story for you after they spend a number of days just "doing something" that you never really get to see them doing for real.

I wish I could start over in KSP. Going through the learning process of starting out fucking around with the physics engine and crashing ships to charting out gravity assists and traveling across the solar system was so damn satisfying. And the realization that it was all applicable to irl spaceflight and that I could understand and visualize what people in the aerospace industry are talking about was insane.

inventory micromanagement and deep building trees with tons of mats and basebuilding optimization definitely constitute autism

>learning a survival game's basic mechanics is autism
this is the current state of gaymers

>deep building trees
lol

>optimization and organization to the extreme aren't autism
>trust me I'm an actual autist
Oh, we know.

>Goes from a 6 to a 9 after installing the map mod
Would be a 10 if the progression didn't feel so chaotic

I left some "reclaimed water" from the Stillsuit

user Subnautica is a really light survival game. More of an exploration game where you have to collect a lot of scrap, really. There's not a lot to do with your base, there's a limited amount of materials and tools, and progression is generally straight forward (or straight down in this case).
What the hell do you consider a non-autistic game

>the first one is raw autism kino
it could be, if they put real or at least hypothetic animals from cambrian era designed from fossils like in encyclopedias or those bad cgi documentaries. The way they did it is just childish looking sci-fi bullshit.

GTA V

Outer Wilds
Obra Dinn
New Vegas
Deus Ex

Subnautica for sure. Outer Wilds is definitely the top of the list. Dark Souls 1 too.
