When people on here say that Sekiro is "easy", that's just bait, right? Does anybody unironically think this game was easy? I got to near the end but didn't beat the end bosses, including Daddy Owl and Demon of Hatred.

>the only from game where everyone starts on easy mode

What do you mean?

>Beats the final boss in just 3 tries
>Boldly looks at camera and goes "...is that it? That can't be it..."

it is, you just need to figure out how to parry, from there it's just adjusting to different patterns

Sorry bros just looking out for my Ninja Gaiden and Nioh bros in this thread. I don't want you to catch a ban, this is a janny favorite.

I would never call it easy and it's more challenging than at least 90% of games out there, but if someone like me who sucks at action-games can make through it just fine and never really hit a wall until the en with Demon of Hatred and Genichiro+Isshin it can't be thaaat hard.

yes. easy means not in the same category as truly hard filter games games like ninja gaiden or contra hard corps (US).

OP here. NGB and NG2 were also really hard imo but I beat them both.

Thanks for warning bro.

On Master Ninja ?

It's definitely the hardest of the soulsborne series without a shadow of a doubt

yes. nerds call it easy because it makes them feel accomplished and gives them something to finally be proud about. sad!
but once you get the hang of the game you're going to kick ass at it forever

>summons

Coming into the game with the background of being a heavy player of souls and rhythm games I am genuinely serious when I say I think Sekiro is easy. It’s hard at first, but once it clicks, it clicks. I had gotten 3/4 of the way through the game and for some reason decided to restart and start speed running the intro up to castle repeatedly. By the time I decided to finally finish the game and sword saint I was slightly disappointed by how easy he was.

.... No, only on normal lmao. I noped out of hard. Mega respect to you if you beat either on master.

Never played the game but isn't it possible to just hold down the block button to auto-block forever and run away if you run out of posture?

no you're oing to get raped if you try that

pretending that a difficult game was easy for you makes you look cool on the internet

The games fairly difficulty but once you've beaten it, due to the way the game essentially trains you as you go through it the game will feel easy. They really showcase this with how you fight genichiro multiple times with him just being a footnote in the final bossfight. Not to say it's the toughest game in the world but it's got some good solid enjoyable difficulty with bosses that feel satisfying to overcome since they don't really pull bullshit sudden death pranks on you.

These are correct. Any Forums will never admit a game is hard.
Honestly if you got past the mid-game you should be good enough to get those last bosses. Daddy Owl isn't really much harder than Shinobi Owl, and it's a similar strategy; keep a cool head and know what moves he has that are easily punished

Theoretically it's the hardest of the soulsborne series on paper. But then you realize that enemies can't do a thing to you without any delay if you can time the Perry. I could see someone blazing through once it clicks.

I'm a "Ninja Gaiden and Nioh bro" and think you should fuck off with your tribalism horseshit because Sekiro is also an excellent game.

I think you should kill yourself.

apparently the general consensus is "harder than Dark Souls but easier than Ninja Gaiden"

I usually get filtered after the bull. I just can’t into perry. Never could.

>post retarded bait
>get banned
how could this happen

>can't into perry
FILTERED

I haven't played the game, why is that? What's going to happen?

It's not tribalism, I don't even like Nioh that much, but they're in every sekiro thread and I just like pointing out how upset sekiro fans get at the mere suggestion of their game being overrated

it's pleasantly challenging. people who call it easy are either baiting, beat the game and only think about it after mastering it, are just naturally very good at vidya and it clicked for them quickly

Hit the enemy until they block your attack. When they do, you know they are ready to counter attack, so hold block. Chances are that you will parry them. If not, you will still block their attack.

>avatarfag forgets which game he's talking about
You should have said kill yourself twice.

how the fuck is the retarded input buffer in souls games justified? laggy as shit

It's a challenging game for sure but it gets way easier when the combat clicks, which it should have done for you around the time you fight Genichiro

they are morons and put the sprint on the same button as dodge. because of that, dodge can only trigger on button release, not on press

I fucking despise this game not gonna lie

no one ever said Sekiro was easy. ever. this is literally history revisionism or utter braindamage retardation.
Reddit Ring is easy.
Sekiro has a perfect learning curve with a matching difficulty level. 90% were filtered by the ogre.

that's unironically a masterclass in game design, considering how it basically just heightens the tension because you would have taken more time to doge out of the way, just like a real swordfighter. but you're just a niohbrony right? so i doubt you understand that

kuro's charm. but he is wrong anyway

So it's just shitting up the board for no reason then? Calling something overrated is a non-comment, there's actual flaws you could give regarding Sekiro if you wanted to go that route, and not the parroted complaints that don't actually hold up either.
Sekiro is actually the one game of theirs that fixes this regarding dodging. Of course they didn't fix the delay regarding all the other inputs, including deflect timing which is slightly later than it actually looks for every one. The horrendous buffer is also fully intact, both of which being far worse for what kind of game it is.

I haven't played any other FromSoft game and I found Sekiro to be very challenging at times and also very fun. I beat Inner Isshin, Inner Genichiro and Demon of Hatred while having Bell Demon, but it took a lot of practice. I think there's a tendency to underestimate the difficulty of something you've practiced and gotten good at.
Going to try Charmless + Bell next.

You can block early and still take no damage unlike dodging where you'll take the hit.

I can forgive negative edge but the dodge rolls can be so laggy that they will literally trigger after you get attacked and recover from hit stun.

>I disagree with you, you probably like the other game I dislike.
lol. lmao, even.
