it's harmless, cute and an entry level franchise. Same as animal crossing.

I got my vidya tat a bit after one of my best friends died we played that game a lot but it's obscure so people don't know shit

you're right it's mostly a Mafia thing in Japan to have tats but traditional Japanese style tattoos are the coolest in the world in my opinion

In movies and TV and anime, characters with tattoos always have these cool looking patterns with real intent and meaning. And then in real life people just plaster themselves with randomly placed shitty little birds, tacky logos and "deep" or "meaningful" phrases that belong on grandma's kitchen wall. What's up with that?

Life is so extremely short and one single illness/accident is enough to ruin it even if you don't die from it so tattoos aren't really a big deal.
With that said, they're ugly so anyone with more than a discrete tattoo instantly becomes unfuckable for me.

I'm not against one or two, but the overabundance of tattoos imply for me that that person either have mental problems, have a criminal past or both. There are no exceptions.

Generally only very low quality people have tattoos, because it's a symptom of a greater affliction. Zero ability to think long-term, zero impulse control, zero regard for their image.
