Why haven't you jailbroken your unpatched switch yet?
Why haven't you jailbroken your unpatched switch yet?
Don't want to.
Dunno it's not like I ever use my Swtich so I may as well. Is there a PSP emulator?
Nintendo are the last bastion of soulful gaming companies. They make incredible games that are widely regarded as masterpieces and they are pro-consumer doing things like not increasing their prices despite inflation, keeping gaming cheap. Why would I want to steal from such an amazing company? You should feel bad if you do.
>Pro consumer
Nintendo Switch online.
yes
You can literally download android on it too and it will run any emulator available on android.. I think everything up to the Gamecube works perfectly.. Handhelds up the DS should work flawlessly. Citra is available too I think but not sure how well that runs
>jailbreak it
>spend days putting almost 400 games on it
>never play anything other than mariokart once a month
>go to download new games like sunbreak
>gotta update firmware to run them
>breaks everything bc of custom skins and starts giving me a blue screen
>somehow starts working again after putting fusie.bin into a random folder in the rcm jig
>no telling when shit could break again
technically he's right, they are pro-consumer because consumers give them money.
A bargain compared to PS+ and XBL
After getting an OLED Switch last year I decided to go ahead and jailbreak my Day One Switch.
I have to say the entire Switch Homebrew scene is an absolute clusterfuck. Took me fucking DAYS to finally get the Switch into a condition I was happy with and even now I still have issues. I need to do a firmware update and I honestly can't be fucked.
cause i only use it for mk8, smash and splatoon
single player games can be emulated fine
Hacking consoles is always more fun than actually playing anything on them. I hacked my 3DS, installed a gorillion old games on it, and now it's collecting dust then. No reason not to do it, tho.
I'm probably gonna order an rcm jig and just break my switch free. The fact you cannot even change themes in 2022 is fucking baffling. Could be fun using it as an emulation machine that I can hook up to my tv. Not to mention that it can also stream pc games
Inb4 some npc just screeches at this post to read the faq
Nintendo has the worst online, paying anything for it is abysmal.
I remember hearing about how their Splatoon 2 servers were running on windows 98

Same
I did. Wish I hadn't bought one of those jigs though, pretty sure I got scammed and I probably could have just left the autoRCM on. And I'm probably going to be ordering the Deck later today so I'll likely only use the Switch for piracy. But it has been nice playing the PC ports of SM64 and OoT on it in the meantime.
you wish they are running on windows 3.11 for workgroups
No games.
>Switch runs out of battery
>Have to fucking connect it to your pc again to make the jailbreak work again
ffs how fucking long until this shit actually becomes as streamlined as 3DS homebrew? It's cool that you can play pretty much anything on the switch, but the novelty quickly wears off
That'll be £34.99 plus expansion pass :^)
>every custom skin app warns you to not do firmware updates with a skin enabled
>this retard does it anyway
there's a reason those warnings appear on screen.
I mean, I understand when you don't know what you're doing. Firmware and partitions and hex codes can be scary for normalfags, but at least read and comprehend whats on screen
Because there's nothing worth playing, I already beat Xenoblade 2 and I'm not 9 so smash doesn't interest me
