still not playing your walking simulator, shill

Probably for the best. Your life is already one big pile of miserable shit.

I'm looking forward to trying it out.
Not convinced I'm going to love it, but I think it looks different/interesting.

Game?

I think it'll be janky shit that falls very short of what it promises, but I'm hoping there are a few good moments in it. I'm a sucker for biological shit.

>Biological
Biomechanical. It reminds me a lot of the weird shit you see in Quake with biological living things having decapitated and replaced with guns and other mechanical contraptions.

I haven't really seen anything in the game that's not biological. I get that they call it "biomechanical", but to me that's a fusion of mechanical and biological, while everything here is more like Alien than straight Giger, which I see as biomodification, the structures are specialised, but organic.

"Biomechanical" is mechanical but still organic in an unnatural way.

you understand that mechnical doesn't necessarily mean metal right? or wood, the body is mechanical

i'll wait for cyberscorn 2077

With such loose interpretations, you could consider anything living "biomechanical". I get the sense of the word, I just don't agree with it, because like the other guy said, you could consider a Strogg "biomechanical". Giger's other work often did contain outright mechanical elements, but I make a distinction between those and the purely biologic ones.

I'm going to play just for aesthetics.
Gameplay is kinda meh, judging from what I've seen in the demo.

anything living IS biomechanical, but in the fictional sense it's generally executed in a horrific unsettling and alien way, have you imagined what it would be like to travel to the inards of a whale? it's probably pretty scary

i think what's semantically understood to be biomechanical is generally tied into cosmic horror too

Nothing about any game makes me feel good.

Everything in the game falls under the header of "biomechanical", but I prefer to group it into the sub category of biomodification to maintain a personal distinction between works with outright mechanical elements and works that are conceivably biological in nature.

>anything living IS biomechanical
"Mechanical" is commonly understood to be of artificial nature.
So no "biomechanical" would mean that it's either some combination of naturally occurring orgranic and artificial parts, or something grown in an artificial manner for a (limited) purpose. Like "my hammer wriggles to hit the nail true every time, but I have to feed it" kinda of tool.

honestly the game looks like shit, not the asthetic i mean, it looks like a 2013 game and it will probably play exactly like doom 3, i'm expecting a garbage game that every one will hate, i'll be surprised if it's even mediocre

its going to end up just like Agony, a mediocre survival horror with le edgy striking visuals. i'm not falling for it again, i hate how shitty and boring Agony turned out.

>Implying anything makes me feel good

Just call it Biomechanical, instead of being autistic, because everyone with a minor understanding of art knows exactly what is meant by that term.

I don't think it will brud. So many dogshit armchair critics on here

Agony evoked its world marvelously, it's seared into my mind. You sound like one of those faggots who always checks their phone during a movie

I shill, for free.
