Anyone who buys games one deserves to be scammed. That's what new games are now, scams. Wait 2 or 3 years. You get the full actual game (be it the "complete edition" or whatever they call it) for extremely cheap in a sale. All the bugs are fixed, and even if they're not, you'll know all about it and can just ignore it. AAA is a joke. Being a patient gamer is the only real solution.

the game will do well because of one simple reason.
People are Sick of GTA5 and there is no new GTA on the horizon.
Saints Row as a series always does well when GTA is slacking.

>saints row 2 came had GTA4 to compete with and many people at the time didn't like the super serious and realistic direction GTA4 took while Saints row felt more like the mix of goofy and serious that was San andreas
>saints Row 3 and 4 both came out when GTA5 was at its peak popularity and thus had to go all in on the wackyness since it couldn't sustain itself on just being "a GTA:SA clone" anymore
Meanwhile this new saints row has no real GTA competition and people are starved for a new GTA game
