4K 60Hz or 2K 144Hz or 1080p 240Hz?

4K 60Hz or 2K 144Hz or 1080p 240Hz?

60hz is enough for anyone 30hz for each eye

1080p 60Hz because i play on toaster and will not upgrade it for next 5 years

5k 40 fps is best

The human eye can't see more than 1080p

1440p 144Hz is a good combination at the moment. However, depends on what you play. Games with fast movement are great at 144fps, whilst slower games are (imo) just fine at 60fps. I have a 27" 1440p 144Hz and would not want a 4k since that would require the use of the Windows zoom feature - something besides gaming that might be a consideration, too.

I have a 1080p 144hz monitor. IF one day in a distant future 4k games will run on 144fps then I will buy 4k monitor

>2K
It's fucking 1440p
2K would be 1080p if anything

4k 60Hz

But what about chocolate eye?

what is the monitor size? if larger like 55 inch 4k 60, if smaller like 27-35 inch 1440p 120hz seems like a nice middle ground with no downsides.

1080p 240hz doesn't seem that great but would provide little downsides on 24 inch monitors and smaller.

1080p is all you need.

2k is a meme.

4k is good but too demanding right now.

4k60 single player games. 1440p144 multiplayer games.

>2K 144Hz
All you need. Everything else is irrelevant.

2k at 100+ fps master race here

4k is almost as much of a meme as ray-tracing

i'm going from 1080p60 to 4k60 in a couple months

how is 55 inches considered a monitor and not a TV

8k 300hz

1080p240. If nothing else it's good to have a framerate that also divides cleanly into conventional lower framerates for smooth scaling.

1440p on my 4K 60Hz TV

i was bundling it all together, not really accurate but you get my point surely. if you want to cut that off entirely then fine. 1440P 120hz for larger monitors and 1080p 240hz for smaller ones.

4k 120hz
