for a sec there I thought you were actually trying to defend fucking mary skelter, OP

I prefer Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force

I'm not a big fan of DERQ, but I love MS.

This is pretty good too.

why is mary skelter always getting threads but nobody gives a shit about death end re quest
i fuckin love death end re quest

-t for mentally ill yurifags with absolutely no standards as to the garbage fiction they consume.

I can't believe Lucil pissed on her own father.

Death end request is god tier. Even bought the limited edition from iffy.

Death end re;Quest was an interesting game. Cool aesthetics.

Is it worth going back to DERQ1 if I primarily gave 2 a chance for the horror tone and MC? Gameplay's serviceable and all but half the reason I like it is because I really like Mai specifically.

>"Please wish that we'll win Mr. Player! Don't choose the choice that will give us a bad ending"
It was decent until it the end where it felt like something out of a baby's cartoon.

Mary Skelter 2 was great but 3 is even better, some people just got filtered by the party swapping mechanics. Keeping track of 15-20 different characters classes/gear/etc, their dungeons and what's going on in the story isn't easy especially if you take breaks. It's by far the most complex DRPG that's been made in the last 20 years.

The environments of DERQ1 are more generic because the setting is an MMO made of bog-standard videogame environments, but the VN parts in the real world with Arata are very interesting if you're into schizo occult conspiracies.

>generic MMO settings
booooooooooooo

>schizo occult conspiracies
yaaaaaaaaaaaay

I'll keep it in mind.

derq requires even more reading and story commitment to enjoy than ms and you're on a website full of illiterate ADHD burgers that can't even read long Any Forums posts without throwing a tantrum

i've only played the death end games, tell me about mary skelter, bros
i know that 2 comes with a remake of 1 so i guess theres no reason to play the original release of 1, but for some reason people say to play 2 first? and is the pc port of 2 good or should i play it on my switch? i know that the third one isnt on pc yet which sucks

>It's by far the most complex DRPG that's been made in the last 20 years.
Sometimes it also feels like it's the only DRPG that's been made in the last 20 years.
Yes I know the number is wrong because experience games exist and arguably EO still exists but it still feels that way.

The true ending of 1 is locked behind finishing 2, you can't access the final dungeon if you don't finish 2 if I remember correctly.
I played it on the Switch and it was fine.

honestly what they pulled off by bundling the first game together with the second is amazing

Bwos...
Trillion...

compile shartfags unironically believe this
your shovelware studio will be bankrupt soon

>Mary Skelter 2 is dykeshit
>so is Death End reQuest 2
What the hell happened to Compile Heart?

The fun thing about not falling for the AAA faggotry of "polish" and "production values" is that they can survive on what is functionally peanuts compared to other studios.

they decided to trim their fanbase and btfo normalfags that would be offended by yuri
not like those retards would buy their games full price either, if they pay money at all, so why does it matter?

I thought Mary Skelter was a porn game

Compile Heart is healing. New mainline neptune any day now hahaha yeah right.

The amount of work that went into it must've been crazy since they redesigned all the dungeons in the first game too meaning they worked on 23 dungeons across new and redone ones.

>Nepkeks give so little fucks about neptunia that they don't even knew a new mainline is already out.
And this is why they did they right thing by basically giving up on neptunia.
