It's a very cozy and laid back game, the combat is really fun but the game is way to easy to use it in its full capacity, I recommend switching to hard as soon as you unlock alchemy, but not before that otherwise you'll get destroyed.
The real fun part is going full autism with the crafting, making overpowered gear and items to use, even if the game isn't hard enough to require you to use those items.

1 is cute but I've yet to beat it. I actually enjoy the pressure of the time limits and without them these games are just too fluffy to keep me hooked. I need that fire under my ass driving me forward. Still, I do play it for an hour or two once every few blue moons. Maybe one day I'll get to the second one.

Secret Hideout is pretty good, but way too grindy for endgame stuff. I prefer 2, but I feel like lacking the context of the first game a lot of the emotional payoff of the various reunions won't land, so definitely play Secret Hideout first, then pick up Hidden Fairy. Lent is best boy.
