No. They could have released RTX 4XXX soon, but they're holding onto RTX 3XXX because they want to sell their huge surplus so they don't lose as much potential profit. They've tasted extortionate rates, and now they don't want to let go of those astronomic profits even though miner demand has crashed. It doesn't matter anymore, they will charge highly and make excuses for it as much as they can.

RTX 4xxx is going to be ridiculously-priced too. It will be like this for a few gens until competition hits hard enough and they have to lower down. You'll be waiting a while for fairly-priced Nvidia/AMD units unless you buy an Intel card, but that comes with a number of caveats too.

leaks are pricing it at normal prices. ~$550 for the 4070, which is about what i paid for a 2070s when it came out

with no miners to buy cards, it won't be priced as high as last gen
they have to sell cards to make investors happy
