Why do the Neptunia games have such a bad rap on Any Forums? The games are fun and my wife Noire is in them. Does this board just hate JRPGs with actual gameplay?

They're extremely boring and repetitive. The gameplay consists fighting copy-pasted monsters in copy-pasted "dungeons" that are just a couple small rooms with zero world interactivity.

Crappy series which should have died already. Rehashed and rehashed and rehashed again. The only chance this series had was V2 which failed and the series is in remake and spin-off hell because of it.

Yeah I did, and I wish they were a lot better than what they actually are. I like the characters, but the game sucks. May as well just make it a visual novel, because at least then it would be enjoyable.
