Yip.
It's: Alpha or beta.

like many things in Skyrim it’s a superfluous choice that has no consequences outside of maybe one line of dialogue at the end of the quest

Entering Hadvar's side lets you clip through the wall and skip the entire tutorial section more expediently than Ralof's version.
Otherwise no

Hadvar is atleast armed in the beginning, so he's able to protect you better than Ralof. But I still would go with Ralof since Hadvar tried to have me beheaded and there's a high likelyhood of him stabbing me in the back along the way.

He knows the prison and how to get out

>Hadvar tried to have me beheaded
the general does though, hadvar even says you're not on the list so he might have rather let you go if he wasn't an imperial goon

Todd's RPG philosophy is many pointless paths to the same pre-determined end.

If the event had been scripted differently to have Hadvar take greater pain to save the DB's ass it might have worked, but as is, it's a choice between the friendly warrior in the wagon or the functionally psychopathic bureaucrat with the list.

In the heat of the moment not really. Even if you end up joining the Legion escaping with the rest of the prisoners sounds better for your life.

first time i did the tutorial in skyrim i never noticed ralof and accidently went down hadvar's path

Guy immediately cuts yor binds and personally escorts you to safety and freedom as soon as the bitch that orders your death gets out of the picture. Hadvar is personally determined to save you against his own orders and vouches for you through th whole civil war quest, Ralof just kinda pats your ass.

Hadvar because the Legion is 100% correct and fuck nords, also FUCK dunmer too

Hadvar is hotter
Stormcloaks are still objectively correct and dumb mutts can go to hell

siding with the stormcloaks is such a childish decision

The legion was going to execute your ass without a trial, you gotta be a turbocuck to sympathize with the Imperials after this shit

Honestly it is more advantageous to pick Ralof only because you get access to both light and heavy, both 1 and 2 hand, and Alvor will be more readily available to run his shop rather than tucked away in the house.

Dunmer hands

Yeah this, it's too chaotic to be a meaningful choice the first time through.

Free smithing materials

Only if you're a faggot romaboo who hates white people.

Idk was there any reason to take the covid vaccine? Some people just want to be told what to do by the guys in charge.

Because Ralof just tells you to jump into a burning building before that point. Hadvar protects you on the way to the keep.

The stormcloaks are alright. They're racist assholes, but everyone in every Elder Scrolls is racist. Besides who wouldn't want to attack dunmer women at night?

Because Hadvar tries to save your fucking life in the beginning by pointing out that you're not on the list, and the femoid gets in the way to execute you for no reason, its not his fault.

Dunmer would more likely support Stormcloaks because they fucking hate the Empire even more

But no one else except him protested, everyone including the general just stood and watched without giving a fuck.

Hadvar is the son of that blacksmith in riverwood, if you follow him the blacksmith will just let you take all of those steel and iron ingots free of charge

I regularly see Dunmer farmers on their way to join the legion.

No one including Ralof. He was just fine letting you and that horse thief die labeled as Stormcloaks.

Gane would have better if it was the thalmor trying to behead you with hesitant empire soldiers with them at least gives you a reason to not want to join the storm Cloaks

So deep, essentially a metaphor for life

>psychopathic
Hadvar vocally objects to executing you

Yet het follows the orders anyway.

Blaming Ralof, really now. Do you think they would take the word of a stormcloack that another prisoner is not with them? Would they listen, would it make a difference?
They didn't care, it was just easier executing everyone.

To be fair, trying to vouch for you would probably make you more suspicious. Hadvar was still based, though

He didn't even try to stick up for you. Is that someone you want watching your back?

To kill Nord NPCs so you can get and start training heavy weapons. Of course if RP isn't important to you, you can still do that with Ralof

If the thalmor weren't already attempting to release the guy who is totally not their sleeper agent, maybe there would be time for a trial. The real idiot was the captain for not executing Ulfric first.

Dungmer farmres that are tired of living in Windhelm even though they get free gibs. Actual Dunmer in Morrowind would likely help destroy the Empire given the opportunity seeing as how the Empire left them all to die during the Oblivion crisis.

Why wouldn't it? The Stormcloaks didn't deny that you weren't with them so the Imperials automatically assumed you are. Ralof even tells Lokir "face your death with some courage" like nigger why? Why should random bystanders die for your retarded cause?

>"Heh, well sorry there innocent by-stander that has nothing to do with this. I guess orders are orders, sorry but we'll have to publicly execute you even though you've done nothing wrong. My bad!"

>2022
>Empirefags still arguing Ulfric is a sleeper agent that is secretly working for the Thalmor

It's been over 10 years guys, please get some fucking reading comprehension and actually READ the dossier.

Yes, imperials = good, stormcloaks = bad.Hadvar contested your execution, so you could see that he was a good guy. Ralof makes you jump in the beginning as a distraction for the dragon, Hadvar immediately cuts your handcuffs, while Ralof wait for some time

Those farmers are pretty stupid. Sometimes I see them going the wrong way. I often wonder if it's just one guy who can't read the road signs.

Because he's not the one executing you, because he has no say in the situation, because they had already decided to kill everyone and nothing was going to change that.
My god, the amount of twisting you guys are pushing in order to shift blame in insane.

What should he do? Fight off the rest of the imperials to bust you out?

Yes retards that's how the military works.
What the fuck do you think would happen to him if he refused to obey orders?

I didn't know there was a choice and just went with whatever exit I found, Hadvar must be more straightforward then

What do you want him to do, resign in disgrace and have the Imperials execute him alongside you? He offers to send your body to your native province instead of dumping you in a mass grave with the stormcucks.
