why does that look like an AI-Generated cover?

This is why the first game had better atmosphere. Mercer being the anti-hero was more fitting for the powers in the game.

Pariah is the real mystery nigga.

would love to see pariah have hallucinations of his dead mom and shit

Why was the virus copy of him objectively a better person than OG Alex?

>le virus... was more human than le protagonist
>zoomer: holy HECK this is PEAK fiction and the best character development in videogames

What's with the Prototype threads recently, are we getting astroturfed and prepared for some sort of remastered announcement

This but unironically

don't we have a remastered collection already?

If their reviving discussion to prep for a reboot/third entry announcement then I'm perfectly fine with it

The virus understood the environment it was in, and the personalities of the people that inhabited it. Alex was just a sociopathic autist with little to no mind of anyone or thing

I'm convinced the only reason the main character looks like that is because Assassins Creed was all the rage at the time.

>reborn
*the bioweapon you unleashed gains sentience using your corpse as a conduit
*it's a better person than you were

As janky as this game was, it was very fun to play through. Even the more annoying missions were made bearable by how powerful you could become.

the virus was the protagonist. The fact that he's not the real Alex Mercer is a twist. And it was a legitimately decent twist. It wasn't some thing I'd seen a million fucking times before. It wasn't some trite "I AM IN FULL SUPPORT OF WHAT IS CURRENTLY CONSIDERED MORALLY GOOD TO SUPPORT" message like 99% of media. I don't know why you have to be a fag about it.

The virus was a hive-mind of everyone it consumed with itself as the dominant / controlling personality, it automatically has perspectives and social throughput that the real Mercer not only didn't have but wasn't interested in unless it got him to a goal

Assassin's Creed 1 was ungodly mid compared to codename Zeus

Assassin's Creed was way more immersive and looked way better, but it was super slow by comparison.

the fact that this is like the 3rd thread I've seen this week of this game ontop of the fact that i just re-installed and played through this game last week reaffirms my belief that I'm living in a simulation.
