Literally every Soulsborne player I know, both in real life and via streaming, claims that this isn't the best one but then admit in the next breath that they've played it by far the most. Why won't they just admit that they like it the most? Why is that stigmatized? Is it paradoxically BECAUSE it's the best-selling and second best-reviewed one?
Literally every Soulsborne player I know, both in real life and via streaming...
I never finished 3. I played 2 the most.
Finding weapons and armour was really shitty.
I felt like I was stuck in a corridor the whole game too.
The weapons sucked ass. I just upgraded my base weapon and stuck with that for the entire game. It's fun enough, just incredibly basic.
3 isn't stigmatized at all by the casual crowd, but the more you play it the more flaws you notice.
Use Champion's Ashes
I've been playing the series from the start and 3 is the best souls game.
Only Bloodborne and maybe Sekiro are better
And it's hands down the one I replayed the most and I don't even do pvp
i played 2 the most and then 1 and then 3, i only made 1 character for 3 and it isn't because I hate 3 it's just at that point of playing soulsgames for so long I didn't have the energy to restart 3 again I think I beat it on ng+ though. 1 is the best one to me
Its the first one I played so I played it a lot when it came out. Then I decided to play all the other soulsborne games. I didnt play those as much because once I finished one game I moved onto the next one. By the time Sekiro and Elden ring rolled around I have less time for vidya. I'd imagine lots of people are in a similar boat with DS3 being their first souls game
I love it. Best pvp of the series. Best areas for pvp.
I played it and dropped it after a few hours then went back to playing DaS1 instead
I've played DaS1 the most. The only other FROM game that rivals it is Sekiro.
Bloodborne's rally system and trick weapons are great mechanics but the game is so gimped by its framerate and horrendous PS4 input lag that it's just not that enjoyable to play.
3 sucks
This isn't counting the countless hours I put into 1 and vanilla 2 on 360. I will admit I have more hours in 3 than DeS, but I've only done one playthough there.
Demon's Souls is the best one
I have two anomalies in the series; DaSIII is the only one I have never finished and ER is the only one I won't do a second playthrough for.
Ranked from most to least played:
DaS
DeS
DaSII
BB
ER
DaSIII
It's mediative in how simplistic and shallow it is you find yourself playing it just to turn your brain off and whack enemies. It's the most straightforward and pick up n play. But there's not much depth to it.
>see dark souls 3 on sale for $15 on PSN for weeks
>decide today I’m gonna buy it and do some pvp on PlayStation
>go to check
>69.99
Christ.
Still has the absolute best bosses and OST out of any fromsoftware game
3 is the most polished of the three
>3 comes out
>gets shit on and 2 is praised
>ER comes out
>gets shit on and 3 is praised
The Zelda circle is infesting all games.
Literally filtered shitters. Putting bloodborne bosses in Ds3 was too much for them.
The only good games in the franchise.
its too linear and has too many callbacks to the first 2 games, which gets annoying after awhile. but at the same time has pretty strong boss fights over all and also the second best soundtrack (cant top BB on that one). weapon arts were a nice addition and im glad they improved them further in ER. also it had pretty active pvp for years which potentially adds lots of extra playtime.
