I think the Ishimura is a better setting than Titan Station and I wish Isaac was still silent or at the very least didn't speak so much but yeah, 2 is a very well done sequel and upgrade over 1.
Dead Space 2 sucked balls. Even 3 was better despite having shitty mtx and retarded co op.
Dead space 1 was actually a high quality game unlike the later entries.

I love Dead Space 1 but it's just as loud and action packed as 2 and I would dare say 2 has better scare tactics at least 2 doesn't constantly reuse the corpse jumpscare like 1.

Flying around in zero-g was a flat out improvement over the targeted jumps and Isaac felt way less sluggish which helped because it meant they could make the necros quicker too and increase the pressure
>More unique necromorphs
The stalkers alone are brilliant enemy design but they really improved the encounters overall with new specialist necros, the pack shift the way you engage because you suddenly get fodder enemies that are fast, deadly and numerous whereas most of 1s enemies are slow and the hordes are only 4 necros at a time.

With the exception of the rivet gun, every gun is usable and satisfying, the sounds and animations are great too. Kinesis alone is very fun to use compared to its slow first iteration. You also don't get the forced turret segments.

So many of my issues with dead space 1 were corrected in 2 and the way 3 somehow becomes worse than 1 will always disgust me. Dead space 2 is just a good game.

Yeah thats great too. my favourite is the opening and how tense it is with then necro's breaching the asylum sector, the schools fantastic too. I also like the ishimura segment and how for a good portion of it , you aren't getting attacked and you can really relate to Isaacs anxiety. Each level has a different feel to it, and I could go on forever about it.
