DeSu2 is a far inferior game but the combat still makes it worth going through once.

Yes. They're pretty short too. 1 is about 20 hours, 2 is about 30 hours for the main story.

But yeah, I wished Overclocked and DS:SB was ported over to the switch. But I would like it more if this series got a third game.

A Switch port would be great. I've never been a big SRPG guy but I really enjoyed both games.
1 > 2 for the story and atmosphere, but 2 > 1 for the gameplay

1 has a way better atmosphere and story but I find 2 a lot more fun to play. Both are great though.

Sucks too, because I really liked him up until that point. It's like his character does a complete 180 near the end where he becomes completely obsessed with I AM GOING TO MAKE A WORLD WHERE EVERYONE IS EQUAL and all the characterization you get from before gets thrown out the window.
I never would've believed that he would become one of my least favorite characters in the game and Joe and Daichi would become my favorites.
