Is there any real counter-argument for this?

git gud bitch

You shouldn't throw controllers period if you are over 15 years old

Most hardcore gamers are narcissists who never think anything is their fault

eeeee
i agree with everything except throwing the controller part
i've never done it cus i'm a dirt poor spic and controllers are expensive, but i sure have felt the urge to when i loose
but not when i loose to an unfair cheap death like in Dark Souls games, i rage when i fuck up myself and get killed like retard because i got impatient with a boss, failed to memorize a pattern or got greedy trying to get one more hit in the small window of chance the boss gives me to hit him

A boomer at work proudly told us he'd yote his smartphone at the wall because the screen kept turning off while he was trying to read, it's not an age thing.

This board is too underage to understand what Itsuno is talking about, difficulty is just another game design tool to make a game more engaging. Harder = better doesn't exist, It's neither good nor bad; same with inventory management, timers, stamina etc; they're all just tools and can both be used in bad ways and good ways.

>we should make it so that he feels he is the one responsible
The Player IS responsible for taking damage and dying because of it though.
When the Player says otherwise, unless the game was designed poorly, they're just coping.
No amount of changes and no tactics will get through a Player who copes.
This is stupid and I don't get what is there to refute.

The implication that the player throwing his controller can only be attributed to a poorly designed game is retarded. People who mistreat their property are dumb children who will blame the game before themselves 9/10 times no matter what.

Please, Itsuno, make Dragon's Dogna sequel really fucking good. It doesn't even have to be a "masterpiece" or any other soi term for it. Just make it great to play, fun to explore, cool shit to fight and kill and add even more replayability in terms of raw gameplay to last for decades like DDDA does.
