I'll just say it first, none of the money went into crypto. The game was mostly being funded by crypto companies and when the crash happened, they pulled out. Us Devs pretty much never touched crypto and it was basically postponed until after release. The game wouldn't have been finished though by its intended October release. It had no story or quests or anything, only combat gameplay. It was pretty dumb of the company to try an mmo for a first title with not much actual secure funding, cause it turns out an mmo is hard to make.
Also the game is fucking dead even if they say otherwise. Entire company's laid off.
