Cyberpunk rode on massive hype and massively disappointed after release, this game does not have that in fact it has anti-hype with many exaggerating the reboot, which is likely an average game, as the worst thing ever. Once it gets average reviews and deemed a "fun mindless sandbox" normalfags will grab it. With rock bottom expectations you can go up with just putting some effort.

Very optimistic point of view. Licensed games with a couple of games behind them always depend on the fandom. If they really wanted to just sell to normalfags they didn't need the saints row license and could have just made their own game.
I played Saints row 2, 3 and 4 I don't see anything appealing on this new reboot. Doubt any other saints row fans will like it.
I think right now people are more skeptical because Cyberpunk burned a lot of people. Which is very bad news for the reboot, since they cannot bullshit around as hard as Cyberpunk did.

Saints row used to have both. It was a fun sandbox but it also featured interesting stories per gang. Its also why I think Saints row 4 is by far the worst Saints row because it didn't feature any of the old gangs.

why it looks like a standard saints row game

Well have you played the older titles? Its full of boobs, violence, sluts and some low-key racist humor. There is a stage in Saints row 3 where you steal cargo boxes full of sluts because you intend to sell them yourself. The characters also don't mess about with this. Those are not respectable, emancipated women they are just goods sold on the streets.
Of course its a big deal if they break with that, its what made saints row interesting.
That's not true. Saints row 2 and 3 featured some really interesting gangs with interesting personalities and unique approaches on how to deal with them. In Saints row 2 Sons of Samedi they make their money mainly with drugs. So you go around and destroy their drug producing facilities. In saints row 3 you deal with the Deckers, who fuck over the Saints multiple times because they're gang that mainly deals with hacking and stealing information. So you have to get your hands on a Agent gone rogue, so she hacks into the Deckers systems for you.
Only ones I didn't like are the wrestling guys.
