The Mythic choices is a pretty fun addition to the game, but I still prefer Kingmaker for the whole 'adventure' feel.

Yeah I definitely prefer the setting in Kingmaker but I never played it. I don't know Pathfinder and I got filtered very hard by that game. With this one it's a bit easier.

It's still a shitshow though, I don't understand the autists that made that system. Like how the fuck am I supposed to know which feat I'm supposed to select out of 1000 that affect 10000 different systems I don't understand.

there's a lot of learning with that game
even if you copy someone 1vivi/1SF/1thug build you probably will get filtered because you have to know how system works and how to use this character
and building your guys is definitely the most fun part of the game

You can kill off most of them even on "good" pathfs BTW.

I turned off the 6 second cooldown between rounds for both enemies and my party and every fight turned into a shootout--shit's a blast.

If its even 80% as good as the first one then yes

game still forces you to learn pretty much all PF system but yeah its fun if you are okay with that

No a custom character, a cavalier with Cleave. I'm playing on a lower difficulty because I don't know what all this shit is so he'll probably fall off when others can shoot kamehamehas out of their asses at some point, but for now it's just busted.

every time i was heading out it felt like expedition where i need to carefully prepare to whatever bullshit will game throw at me
maybe im a masochist but i grew to like it

sure by the endgame you have 99 mass heal scrolls but until then it's torture

I felt like until you understood all the shit the game throws at you for no reason, especially early game, you have to save-scum for the first ~5 hours.

even if you understand things there's not much you can do at the start, you don't have the scrolls or spells to deal with that shit you either go back and rest wasting time or reload

tavern has restore scrolls for sure
and there's like one varan in the maze that can poison you

honestly that's how I usually play these games anyway

after the maze you have a free rest, i don't remember if the tavern has actual restoration or only lesser restoration which are mostly useless
