Do we have blood yet, when are they going to fix the shit technology tree, will they fix useless lord traits and faction traits and when can we expect CA to fix the game’s shit textures?

I thought IE is going to release next week

>legend refusing to cover champions of chaos dlc because he is pissed how bad quality ca has released lately
based. every other content creator will stream new lords today

Is it possible to play the 4x without playing the battles? I just want a comfy fantasy 4x game.

Play on easy and autoresolve everything.

23rd alongside Blood and new 4 Chaos Lords DLC.

You in theory can, but why would you not just play a proper 4x fantasy game at that point?

What faction is the most lovecraftian?

I like playing the battles in quest mode. I find them ro be repetitive when mixed into the 4x.

Tzeentch probably. Fishmen will be though, when they arrive in 2025

What fishmen?

What part of lovecraftian?
>tentacles
Vampirates or slaanesh
>horror
Gelt on hard difficulty

Tzeentch, Vampirates (marine monstrosities) and the Fishpeople

>he doesn't know
You'll see

I mean, it's possible. I dunno how WH3 auto-resolve works yet since I'm still waiting for the game to be in a better state but Rome2, you can basically just autoresolve your way to victory reliably with units that have high defence stats.

Just play a regular 4X game. TW campaign is usually pretty bare-bones, especially so when compared to 4X games.

I want warhammer though.

>Warhammer
I'm pretty sure there are full-blown overhauls of CK2 and/or CK3.

I want a 4x game, not grand strategy.

Like what?

Are Lizardmen a viable faction to learn the game ? I tried Empire, but at some point i get too overwhelmed and don't know what to do. It's my very first TW.

Age?

no only the beta for people that own the previous two entries seems like many anons skip that fact

Kemmler for actual Lovecraft, Vampire Coast for pop-cultures assumption of what Lovecraft is.

Endless Legend
Lizards are ok, super strong armies, weak as fuck economy and campaign mechanics.
Try High Elves (Tyrion). It's a fairly contained campaign and you're mostly surrounded by allies.

Lizardmen are a pretty simple faction, but always remember there is a pause button, you don't ever have to feel stressed, just pause whenever you need and play the battles like a turn-based game if you need to.

CK2 is way closer to an actual 4X than Total Wars ever were.

Lizardmen are plenty viable with little effort.
Saurus are the best t1 infantry bar none. Kroak is an I win button.
The problem you run into is lizards have poor shooting and garbage like rampage. They also aren’t fun campaign side.
But you can just hire saurus/dinos and face roll the ai without a care.

All TW games are tagged as grand strategy and not a single one as 4X. TW is neither of those genres, but it is so far removed from being a 4X that not even the devs are dumb enough to tag it as such to increase sales and that should tell you something.

I don't really like elves, but if it's not too long I could give it a shot. I would like to finish at least one campaign.

>They also aren’t fun campaign side.

Itza is legit one of the most fun campaigns in the whole game, and it doesn't rely on some cheap gimmick slapped into the game to add value either. Its just a good pure Total War campagin.

Legend was such a depressing narcissistic sell-out that I had to stop watching him back during Total War 2. Such a bitter little boring faggot. He had potential to be great. His early stuff was good.

>Every single enemy near Settrah either does Magic damage or Fire damage

Not even a problem since the ai sucks shit and you start with a kitty.

I don't think any of the campaigns are short (Mortal Empires). Tyrion is probably the easiest. If you want a shorter "experience", play the Vortex campaign. But note that 99% of the Vortex campaigns that revolve around the Vortex are really mediocre.
>Itza is legit one of the most fun campaigns in the whole game
I think the other user meant that Lizards have barely any campaign mechanics, not that it's not a fun race. It's just building and battles with them.

>start with a kitty

not anymore

I am desperately hoping for a mod that'll just put factions back where they're supposed to be.
Nehekhara probably got it the worst in IE.

Why does that even matter?
>magic dmg
a non-issue because Tomb Kangz don't rely on physical res
>fire dmg
matters only when you're dueling with a high dmg lord/hero

Imrik is going to be glorious campaign can’t WAIT

Tyrion, Sisters of Twilight or any Beastmen are the best starters. Strong rosters and easy campaign mechanics.
