Prove to me you're not a musical neanderthal. No easy meme shit like Rising or DMCV that gets updoots from Plebbit and Shitter, I want the absolute best original soundtracks/OSTs in all of video games, bonus points for audio porn from objectively shit/mediocre games that slipped under the radar. What's the matter, too much of a faggot to share your tastes?
Prove to me you're not a musical neanderthal...

Pathologic OST is some great atmospheric music.
Command and Conquer had the best OSTs by Frank Klepacki. Act on Instinct still gets me hype to this day. Honorable mentions for me would be Mafia 2 and Medal of Honor: European Assault. If you love orchestral OSTs those two are as good as they get

Greatest final boss theme of all time.
This is literally the greatest battle theme ever composed in the history of video games. If you're patient and let it build, you're sensually licked in the ear by a combination of electronic synth, historic cathedral organs and incoherent techno-chanting.
These two are straight quinoa. Makes me wanna play the games just to hear more

god I wished this played more often
Ori and the will of the wisp for most original soundtrack
Them Fighting Herds for the most technically impressive soundtrack
No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2 have great soundtracks, especially the latter.

Everyone praises DMC5 but DMC3 has some nice tracks as well such as Devils Never Cry and the boss music of the first Vergil fight (every Vergil fight has really nice boss music that fits the mood but the first one is the best in my opinion)
An acquired taste, but I absolutely love it. The track "Buying Goods at Palmera Grace" crops up in quite a bad OST threads, but the entire OST has a vibe that I haven't heard in anything else.
That was either made by a musical genius flexing hard, or someone who is completely tone deaf and knew nothing about the importance of timing.
Well gigachad sensei, let me share some tracks i a humble plebian enjoy.

>Hoshino stated that he cannot read music, so he usually does not compose orchestral scores
I'd wager the latter.
