Bans in GMOD. Everyone who's played online on GMOD know them. Everyone's been banned before, perhaps when you were a loser virgin in high school, or maybe as a loser virgin now. But what's more fun than pissing off kids and getting banned? Pissing off the admins and fooling them into unbanning you. Here's my step to step plan on how to get unbanned (tested on the absolute shithole server that is HorizonNetworks)
Step One: Boot up GMOD and find a DarkRP server. The one I've had luck with is HorizonNetworks, but I'll leave it up to your judgement. Step Two: Join the discord server while joining the DarkRP server. This makes it so you can easily bitch to the admins when they "falsely ban" you. Step Three: Get banned in the DarkRP server. Whether it's yelling out slurs in OOC, or selfsupplying some weapons to MRDM with. I'll leave this up to you aswell. Obviously there are things you can do to get a larger ban, but I find it's harder to find someone willing to pardon you if you do so. Step Four: Create a ticket in the discord server, or an appeal on the forums. Whatever you can do to make sure you get heard. Step Five: Change your name on Steam to something offensive. a slur is preferred, but its 2022 so you do you. Could be mocking a tragedy, a dead content creator, etc. Step Six: Post in your profile comments something along the lines of "im so sick of changing my password. whoever is signing into my account and changing my name to racially charged stuff is obviously a friend, so pleASE stop". Make it tasteful so it's obvious your motive is not to be unbanned but to get justice for your "hacked" steam account. Step Seven: Wait for somebody to notice. Maybe complain about it more in the discord server a bit if it takes too long. Just like the last step, make it clear your intention isn't about getting unbanned, just about making sure people know you're falsely banned. Step Eight in post below \/ \/
Step Eight: Manipulation. This requires quite a bit of judgement from the reader, but I will trust that you're a sociopath like me if you've read this far, so I'll just offer some words of encouragement. You can do it champ! All you have to do it wait for an admin to message you or directly message the admin who banned you telling them the situation. Tell them you don't care about getting unbanned, you just wanted to let him know he's falsely banning you. If you want, you could follow my steps in the photo attached. Step Nine: Enjoy your unban!
