yay. now i can have two marketplaces full of phone games to play in VR.

>biggest thing since the iPhone
How the fuck is it supposed to fit around your head if it's that small?

>VR gaming
>A mixed/augmented reality headset
Oops

On the one hand, I think VR desperately needs lightweight models.
On the other
>Apple

I hope they invent spome variant of monkepox tha transmits through those fag goggles

>VR/AR headset will be between $2,000 and $2,500
LMAOOOOO

I always liked the idea of coffee table RTS games. There's potential.

It was too bad there were not more ar 3ds games.

>AR IS GOING TO SAVE GAMING GUYS
>think of all the games that youll be able to play that take place on your desk
>or... you can go outside!!!

I hate the shift from PCVR to standalone VR. FUCK these glorified mobilephone pieces of shits and their disgusting walled gardens.

>being stuck in a world with nothing but pretentious techbros and applefags
lol no thanks

looking forward to all the applefag cope after they take out personal loans to buy another piece of pointless, overpriced shit.

I hate apple as a company, but the simps who line up to get fucked in the ass every year and claim it's the best thing ever all need to be shot into the sun.

>apple is supposed to save vr from facebook
bruh

PCVR headsets will come back once there's one that's:
>around 300-400 bucks
>comes with a wireless option with no additional cost
>doesn't need Windows; i.e. no WMR
>actually good specs
In other words, PCVR headsets are long dead.

blame zuck for snatching oculus and buying out almost every vr dev

In 2-5 years you'll see many copy cats for cheap if this thing is worth it's salt

It's going to cost 2k usd or more, it isn't going to save shit.
Worst part is it will probably be aimed at watching movies or having a 3D skype call with your buddies instead of anything interesting.
Dumbass apple worshipper.

>>actually good specs
Unless there's some massive leap in mobile hardware in a year it's not happening.

Yeah, it's worth its salt alright. The salt from all the copers.

AR/MR is ripe for bringing the dystopian nightmare. Who has the glasses gif/webm scene at the ready?

It's not dead because of any of that. It's dead because they made the most popular option no stronger than a shitty phone at the price-range that most people will actually consider. So to reach the biggest audience you need to horribly gimp any and all potential to the shittiest, lowest, most common specs.

They jumped-the-gun on trying to normalize and spread VR and destroyed it's potential.

tim cook is just one man, he can't possibly wear each and every device before it gets shipped to market
