I played Valorant one time but the tutorial didn't really go over the specials at all so I'm running into shit that kills me and running out of shit that helps me and I'm getting shit on in the chat and it was pretty traumatic I never played again.

I enjoyed playing Symmetra and then they completely changed her kit.
I mostly just played a lot of Rein, Winston and Moria after that, which was fine, but the Sym change was the beginning of me not wanting to get invested into character.

Imo they tried too hard to push the e-sports meme, if they'd fucking chilled out, focused on fun & retention, maybe added a progression system (other than 'earn the right to get siloed with better players than yourself and get raped 24/7') and some minigames I'd still have it installed.

Because I realized PC gaming was a huge mistake. Now I play smash and splatoon instead.
Of course, I stopped playing it before it got really bad, at least you could main whatever you wanted
