If you read the scientific literature regarding the upgrade, they describe exactly why the glitch happens and how the upgrade prevents it from happening. However, the "booster" they are peddling is not related to that. If you paid attention to what the original paper about it said, the booster literally can't do anything. It can't have an effect on the phenomenon that the upgrade is meant to address. It's just the biotech company raking in the profits from he governments they managed to scam into buying shit that nobody needs using tax payer money.
