Whar are some good 40k games other than Mechanicus?
Are you hyped for Spess Muhrin 2?

40k does not have any other 'good' games. all of the games are ranked by bearable to unbearable.
>Spess Muhrin 2?
It is probably in development hell given that developers are/were russians.
Same for rogue trader.
BFGA2
dawn of war
Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters is good. Necromunda: Hired Gun is solid. Gladius - Relics of War is an interesting 4X.

??????
How are the Battlefleet Gothic games? They seem neat but I never see them brought up on Any Forums.
Dawn of War is really fun, you should check it out.
Any one gonna get Rogue Trader when it releases?
>Spess Muhrin 2?
did they fire the tranny?
Seek help you demented freak
ill consider that as a no
therebefore no im not excited for spess muhrin 2
I'm sure St Petersburg branch was working on it.
CDPR stopped working with saber interactive because of their eternal Polish butthurt from Russia.

Warhammer is now pozzed to the core
>Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters
I'm genuienely amazed people gave $45 to GW for something with denuvo.
Either the game's drop dead amazing or they'll buy anything with the 40k label on it and judging by the gameplay I'm going to hazard a guess that it's the latter.
>Are you hyped for Spess Muhrin 2?
I lost all faith when I see it's made by literal Slannesh cultist.
Anybody played Battlesector or Inquisitor: Martyr? Either of those two good?
What the fuck are you even talking about
literaly 2 posts above yours
There's more than 1 person working on a game user
>Caring about tue story in fucking Space Marine
You've outed yourself as a tertiary, congratulations I guess.
Fpwp ignore this retard. Play dawn of war 1 and 2 or the new grey knights game
Battlesector is pretty mediocre. There's just very little tactics to the game, more or less mow down the hordes in your way with the hordes in your army and then repeat over and over again until the game decides you've finished objectives and stops spawning hordes in your way. I recommend Mechanicus over it, it's actually like a fun game.
Pretty excited, I'm worried about the writer though, partially because it's a tranny but mostly because he's a fan of the disney star wars films, not a good sign of storywriting ability to not be able to tell the shit writing in those
>denuvo
I could not care less about copy protection. It impacts my experience not at all. I give them money if I think the game is worth my money.
What about it?
I quite enjoyed Darktide when I played it the other day, just wish they would have given us access to more weapons to try.
Hopefully that localization bullshit was only for changing button prompts
Noted, I already had some interest in Mechanicus since I like that genre of games but good to know it's actually fun. Any noteworthy tips for Mechanicus?
Inquisitor: Martyr is pretty jank. I found it pretty clunky to play moment to mkment which is awkward for an action RPG. Any awkwardness is a lot easier to overlook in the turn based games.
They're not bad but they can be pretty slow and confusing starting out. I had a hard time telling which ship was which before I memorized the icons.
BFG 2 is good. My only complaint is that the Imperial campaign is just plain better than the rest because you're controlling three separate factions and each one of those factions has more variety than most of the others. Especially Necrons, where you have fewer ships and the only real distinction between them is which one of the two available weapons it has.
It's a naval game. Like something you'd usually see from the historical simulation genre, but masquerading as a sci-fi game. That's a bit of an acquired taste.
Just enjoy yourself with Mechanicus and try and make the most use out of your gear and loot. Eventually the difficulty just breaks and your techpriests become hilariously overpowered.
