Does heiachi dying to kazuya count?

First, Heihachi threw Kazuya off of a cliff when he was a kid, then Kazuya throws Heihachi down the same cliff, then Heihachi throws Kazuya into a volcano, then later in Tekken 4 G-Corporation found remains of Kazuya's body and revived him. Heihachi doesn't have the Devil Gene (or at least an awakened DG) yet he's been thrown down a cliff, jumped by a squad of Jack-4's and been hit by an explosion, and he still stands. Why do devs ruin shit with their favorite characters.
