i wanna make my own game with many nonhuman characters someday but problem is i dont have the slightest clue of what i want to make.
my skills lie in 2d but id rather learn 3d to make a 3d game. what game genres are safe choices? i enjoyed risk of rain 2 but i know a lot of people despise rogue-whatevers for some reason.
