Probably not. The way she's treated in HM itself clearly shows that the writers don't really know why she's such an endearing character. She's written very inconsistently, meaning that they created a good, lovable character completely by accident and never expected the designated bully to end up being so liked.
If they try with a conscious effort to make the same character with the same appeal in HL it'll fail because they don't know how.
