>blatantly ripoff the Argonath
>but make it into some stupid goblinshit
deviantart was a mistake
If only the engine wasn't that ugly.
beautiful
Elden ring
Don't have the game yet. Plan on playing the dark souls games first, or should I just play elden ring now? Got any adventure feel pics to share my friend?
Not that user, but Elden Ring and partially Shadow of the colossus are the only games that capture the feeling of exploration and discovery properly.
It's a double edged sword as to what you want to play first.
Elden Ring is very easy to beat and has many quality of life improvements over the earlier games.
It would be better to play release order, so demon souls first so you appreciate the upgrades of each game.
That being said all of the games are beautiful, but Elden Ring handles scale much better since it's open world.
Literally any magic the gathering art on lands
I wish there were a game like Elden Ring in terms of exploration but doesn't have you at the center of the universe.
Being a hero and overcoming huge obstacles is fun, but in the process you feel less "at the mercy of the world" around you, when you're just the guy flawlessly fixing everything.
It feels a little like.. "hero janitorial work" maybe.
I'd like something that emulates a similar style to Elden Ring, but doesn't involve any major rulers that oversee the country, giving more chaos and wilderness to the world would add to the mystique of exploration
>Elden Ring ... the only game that captures the feeling of exploration and discovery properly.
Zoomers are hilarious
Old open world games can't do scale properly due to hardware. But since I'm a stupid zoomer, surely you can post more games that do it properly?
I'd say Xenoblade X counts. I loved exploring in that game.
Warcraft 3
So post a screenshot that shows it.
>Characters bigger than actual buildings
Shit bait.

Elden Ring nails it but it's far, far from being the only game to handle exploration and discovery well.
Prey does it incredibly well on a different setting, same for Outer Wilds and Subnautica.
>zoomers volunteer to expose their lack of imagination so easily
You love to see it
too bad most of elden ring's locations are linear paths masquerading as a dungeon
Yeah it's kind of sad. Warcraft 3 absolutely nails the adventure feeling, even playing against fucking bots on a random map. Some custom RPGs had the best adventurous feeling ever too. Be it as a child or nowadays, Warcraft 3 is still deeply captivating
Don't really feel it.
None of those games truly humble you with their scale.
