CTR, even the PS1 version with 18 tracks, is easily one of the most content-heavy kart racers of all time. Adventure mode is 6-7 hours on a first playthrough if going for 100%, then you got the N. Tropy and Oxide time trials, and then the cups. Far more shit in it than your average Mario Kart, so yes NF has MORE stuff but "lack of content" is not a complaint you can place on CTR.

Also the game has some of the best graphics on the PS1 while still maintaining a completely stable framerate, so fuck off zoomer. NF tracks are overdetailed imo, like they reeeeeaaally tried way too hard to make them look sparkly and remakey, looks messy compared to the very clean and readable PS1 tracks.

ps1 tracks are ps1 tracks so they're all pixelated garbage with no depth and those garbage jittery vertexes because PS1 was so shit it couldn't even render polys properly.

Neither would PS5/XSX native version, but Activision didn't think it was worth doing those for this game, favoring Crash4 instead.
Maybe after the acquisition goes through we get a XSX native version in preparation for it being added to Gamepass.
