I guess I will never really play it because I am not huge fan of 100% boost moment through all the stage. Looks like a racing game rather than platforming and stopping at any moment might break the entire stage.

The first game had a bearable design but ever since it went to 3d, the character looks like shit, I agree.

Are you using an X-Input controller? It's fine with those.

Steam big picture controller settings might fix it if your controller is officially supported, and their supported range is pretty surprising.

Just finished my first run of the game. Really fun but I miss having the ability to parry while moving. However grinding felt really good even if it was missing SA2 leaning. Boss battles are still the weakest part of the game which was the same issue I had with 2. Stages were great and I liked the little side missions in each zone having it's own unique map. All in all good game, took 4.2 hours for the first run but i'll probably get to 20 by 100%ing the game and replaying it.

I'm partway through and it's everything I'd wanted and more. I know Lake said he's done with Spark but I hope he keeps making games because he's got real talent. Did anyone else get the achievement for beating hard mode after beating the fight against the police bot? Pretty sure that's not supposed to happen.

I really liked it when spark said "IT'S SPARKING TIME" and sparked all over those guys

I just finished the mecha fight. god this game is great. the movement feels so much better and free flowing compared to two. Just wish there were more abilities like in 1 so there could be a solid mix of both games. Otherwise its really great.

I don't get this dev's obsession with combat in general, all it does is slow the game to a crawl as you wail on tanky enemies. Getting rid of the superfluous hack & slash moves would also free up the controls, like being able to have the charge dash on its own button
