Mogs Dread

>mogs Dread
I refuse to elaborate further, you know I am right if you have played both

Zero Mission mogs Fusion. Though I will agree that Dread was trash.

Fusion almost beats Dread, almost, lack of cutscene skip hurts it.

Wish the movement and momentum wasn't so bad and sterilized compared to Super

I was disappointed by the lackluster inclusion of the X parasite in Dread compared to Fusion

Does Any Forums finally hate Dread? I've been calling it trash since launch and everyone was calling me a retard.

Fusion is too linear. The fact that they designed Zero Mission to be beaten by collecting basically no items opens up way more and adds a lot of replayability.

The only thing worse than Gamecube kids are GBA kids.

everything about Zero Mission leaves me wondering why, the first chozo statue you have to hit giving you a map marker, getting equipment like gravity suit you don't use once, the epilogue where you lose your suit and get it all back, and a final boss fight with a robot ridley that is too damn easy.

easily, i rank ZM dead last no matter what games i'm even comparing. you know how it's 'fun' to shit on Other M? consider the hard truth, that what is wrong with it is that it's ZM in 3D.

Play hard mode low% if you think it's too easy. The game gives you extra gallery items for beating the game with less than 15% item collection. Mecha Ridley is extremely difficult when you have 99 energy and 6 missiles.

Dread is the lovechild of Super and Fusion, it does several things right and lots of things wrong and sometimes you wish you were playing the other two instead. If MercurySteam remade Fusion in the Dread engine, it would mog Dread so hard nobody would want to play it again. Dread has kino gameplay and that's it, if Metroid 6 fixes Dread's problems then there will be no point in playing it ever again, just like Samus Returns is impossible to play after Dread. Fusion is linear as shit but it had kino atmosphere and a cool story, elements that make it unique and worth a replay.

I recently replayed Fusion with a hack that allows single wall jumping and bomb jumps, it's pretty fun and you should try it too

I will never not hate when a metroidvania locks the door behind me, denying me access to a part of the level. The whole point of the genre is to slowly unlock the full map, not go from zone to zone like I'm playing fucking Mega Man. And fuck forcing you to interact with the computer after every single excursion. Why can't I just ignore it and keep walking? Fusion isn't a bad game, but it has some really bad elements

>forcing you to interact with the computer after every single excursion. Why can't I just ignore it and keep walking?
because the story dictates you now work for the Federation and must follow Adam's orders, that's why

Adam can go suck a tube

I still like it a lot. It just feels like Fusion 2 when I want Super 2

It’s literally the worst mainline Metroid.

Metroid Fusion is the Metal Gear Solid 2 of the franchise. See if you can figure out why I think that.

but MGS2 is a piece of shit

>and sometimes you wish you were playing the other two instead.

Never, in my 5 playthroughs of Dread I wish I was playing Fusion instead. The games are extremely similar, except Dread has more replayability and far better bosses and movement.

Any Forums hasn't started hating it yet but it will eventually because that's what Any Forums does, but don't worry you'll still be a retard.
