3’s just bad. Lots of copy and pasted environments from the last game but with a different door or something hoping you won’t notice, 90% reduction in designs (classes are basically headswaps on premade models) along with the most covered up female designs in the series (not males though) and a story that flounders often and ends with e total reset to the point that nothing in the whole game mattered and is less than a blip on the series’ meta. If anything, only protagonists from the previous two games come out better than the entire cast of 3.

The boobs are the same size, they're just wearing clothes that aren't as focused on them. Ethel's more stacked than Pyra/Mythra.

I'm not trying to actively dislike the game, but I own XenoBlade1 DE and it just isn't clicking. It feels like a shallow JRPG. I'm about 4 hours in, does it get better?

Besides that the game is great. Chapter 5 is singlehandedly the best Chapter of any JRPG.

Yeah, you're not even past chapter 1 I assume, it opens up around chapter 2. I will say it didn't grab me as much as 1 either, but it gets better at chapter 2 and 3.
