i love classic sonic. i played through s3&k multiple times, acing the bonus stages and getting all of the emeralds. also extensive time in sonic 2.
but this. THIS shit? 50% is the same levels i already know beat a million times. the other 50% has some of the most retarded pathing i've ever encountered. at least is had fewer death pits than sonic 4, but christ is it full of garbage. and then it has the blue spheres... again. they couldnt even be bothered to make new ones. and then they have the GAYEST emerald stage of "chase the ufo". fuck EVERYTHING about that garbage. also the bosses are shit. also sonic can fall off of tails' plane (unlike sonic 2, which is just a testament to mania's shitty development).
i played through the originals so many fucking times, but i only played through this once, with no desire to pick it up again.
