Enjoyable jrpg that flew under the radar.
Weapon system was nice with the Tetris mechanics and Leslie was pure "fun"

It honestly just came out at the wrong time. JRPGs, especially with anime art, were hated back then. It was the era of dude-bro space marines. The legendarily bad dub didn't do it any favors either.
I have memories of it being one of the best designed turn-based combat RPGs ever, been meaning to replay it to see if it holds up.
Was the English dub bad, holy shit.
The awful voice acting didn't deter me from finishing it. I was young and didn't know about undub iso.
This one on psp but it end on a cliffhanger.
I loved ARF. The VAs might be the worst I've ever heard, do yourself a favor and turn them off and just listen to the sweet-ass music instead.

Loved it but no jap audio and game censored before release I think. I got filtered and didn't finish it in one of battles. It's actually amazing game better than anything modern SE delivered.
It was Leslie bra innit ?
The story was such cliché anime tripe that the dub improves it by turning it into parody
Should I pick perfect mode or append mode if I never played the original?
Cute little ghost
>posts worse version
Literally every single JRPG made by Kemco and Compile Heart
Those games may be low budget but they're all substance no filler
Perfect, append mode is fucking stupid
>compile heart
>substance
You must be joking.
I HAD THIS.
Brave Cecille best character.
Hurricane Harvey destroyed my shit.
I always confuse Cecile, Presea and Sophie. During a time strong loli was in every jrpg.
The DS version
Is this worth it for someone who's not really a big fan of JRPGs? By that I'm talking typical/traditional Final Fantasy style JRPG.
So the append mode or are they any differences between the DS and 3DS version even there ?
