It's a portable PC with a full desktop environment and no bullshit software locks keeping you out of root. First time we've really had a competent PC in a "console" shell for a reasonable price. I was gonna buy this or a $1500+ high end laptop and I'm glad I got the deck.

I thought the touch pads would be gimmicky crap like the steam controller but they're honestly really good for playing top down/strat games like Age of Empires and Kenshi. It's also really comfy to hold, actually fits a 6'2"s adults hands well unlike the switch.
